TURKEY AND ITALY CRITICISM OF POLICY EFFORT TO DISTURB BALKANS (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) LONDON, Feb. 14 The Moscow radio, broadcasting in Germany, attacked Italy and Turkey for attempting to disturb the peace of the Balkans. “ Italy’s policy in the Balkans, far from aiming at genuine pacification, serves the sole object of converting the Balkans into a tool for Italian imperialist plans,” said the broadcast. “ Italy will not bring peace to the Balkans, but war, and the imperialist servitude of the Balkan Entente conference demonstrated that Turkey is a mere tool of British and French imperialism. “ Bulgaria,” continued Moscow, “ must be praised for her truly pacific attitude. She shows no desire to associate herself with Britain and France and is unwilling to yield to Italian enticements. The Bulgarian attitude makes it easier for the Balkans to fight against the British and French plan for converting south-east Europe into a new centre of war.”
