Copyright) (Received Feb. 16, 11 a.m.) PARIS, February 15 Le Jour hails the arrival of the Anzacs as follows: “ These young peoples bring exuberance, enthusiasm and a salty freshness of spirit. Also, coining at the end of the winter, they bring us confidence.” BERLIN, February 15 The Diplomatische Korrespondenz comments on the arrival of the Anzacs in the Middle East: “The assignment given these troops is not stated, but the use made of the Anzacs in the last war betrays that thrusts are contemplated in the south-east.” It adds: “The Allies have planned to make the Rumanian and Greek guarantees, also the Alliance with Turkey, a pretext for an attack on the eastern front, which British tactics urgently need.”
