There was a fair attendance but bidding-, particularly for Downs, was not brisk. Romneys were in better demand but tbe sale for them was erratic, very pood South downs made fi, 7 to 9 puineas; plainer sorts but quite pood sheep, 4* to 7pns. Stud Romneys sold from 7 to 13* puineas, best flocks 7 to o puineas. with pood rams making: 5 to 7 puineas. Tail end sorts sold from 2 to 4 guineas. SHEEP AT OTOROHANGA (Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report as follows on their Otorohanpa sheep ralr: —■ Sheep came forward in excess or advertised numbers, the yarding consistin'? mainly of ewes and lambs, only a few pens of wethers beinp offered. There was a pood attendance of buyers and a ready sale for all classes. Store lambs hardened In value, while ewes were fully 11 rm at late rates. Good shorn wether lambs made 13s 9d to 15s; fair sorts. 11s to 13s; pood ewe lambs. IPs; fair sorts, 15s to 16s; small, 13s to 1 ss; fair down lambs, 13s Pd- small lamb, 7s to lls; two-looth fat and forward wethers, IPs Id to IPs sd; two-tooth mixed sex downs, 17s 4d to 20s 7d; pood two-tooth ewes made 30s; medium sorts, 24s to 27s 6d; five-year ewes, 20s; slxvear ewes, 14s to 16s; rough ewes, 10s to 12s 6d.
