EXPEDITION TO ANTARCTIC FURTHER DISCOVERIES MADE (United Press Assn.—Elcc. Tel. Copyright) WASHINGTON, Feb. 14 Rear-Admiral Byrd, in a radio message states that Dr. Paul Siple, the west base leader, in the course of a 750-miles flight discovered an island in the Arthur Sulzberger Bay, and two extinct volcanoes east of the Raymond Fosdick Mountains. He also located the chain of peaks discovered by Rear-Admiral Byrd on January 16, and obtained further data regarding these.
