Casey, on arrival, said the enthusiastic appointment of the first Australian Minister to the United States was lor the sole purpose of strengthening the friendship and understanding between the countries, and try to interest the Australian point of view to America and vice versa. Feb. 14 Nine hundred Jews from Stattin have been forced to migrate to Poland. Similar deportations from other German towns are expected, in accordance with a plan to settle all German Jews beyond the frontiers of th* 1 Reich.
