FROST IN CITY
CHRISTCHURCH EXPERIENCE 3.1 DEGREES AT WIGRAM (By Telegraph.—Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday The urban area experienced the first frost of the year this morning when .4 degrees was recorded. The reading at Wigram was 3.1 degrees. Growers of cucumbers, pumpkins and marrows suffered severe losses in the Harewood and Marshland districts, but apple crops were not affected.
