Mr G. L. Buss, of Bundaberg, Queensland, is at the Hamilton Hotel. Mr A. B. Buxton, of Wellington, is in Hamilton on Supreme Court business. He will return to Wellington to-night. Mr D. D. Wilson, of Hamilton, left for Dargaville today, where he will judge the Jersey cattle classes at the annual Dargaville Show. Messrs T. M. Ross, B. Jessep (Wellington), W. H. Mason (Levin), R. W. Steel and R. W. Smith (Auckland) are at the Hamilton Hotel. Mr W. R. Shattock, of Hamilton, is visiting Wellington for the annual conference of the New Zealand Master Butchers’ Industrial Association. Mr H. E. Worsp has been elected chairman of the board of directors of the Farmers’ Trading Company, Auckland, in succession to Mr A. A. Ross, who has resigned. Mr Ross will continue as a member of the board. The Rev. J. J. Pattison, Presbyterian minister at Pukekohe, will retire at the end of February. Mr Pattison, who is 73 years of age, is the oldest Presbyterian minister in New Zealand with a full-time charge. He was ordained in Queensland 49 years ago.
