OPERATIC SOCIETY
MEETING OF MEMBERS PRODUCTION ARRANGEMENTS A meeting of members of the Hamilton Operatic Society was held last night, Mr M. Thomas occupying the chair. Mr A. A. Lowe was elected a member of the committee. The chairman stated that it was the aim of the committee to build up the funds of the society, and every effort would be made in this direction this year. Several gifts on behalf of the funds were made by members. It was stated that rehearsals for “The Black Eye,” a comedy which will be staged early next month, are proceeding very satisfactorily, and complete arrangements were made for the production.
