INCREASE IN ALLOWANCES UNDER AUSTRALIAN ARTICLES < I'nltM Press Assn.- -Elec. Tpl. ConyrlgTit) SYDNEY, Feb. 14 The Federal Arbitration Court today granted increased allowances to sea-going members of the maritime unions who are serving under Australian articles. The increases, which will operate as from December 15. 1939. are 12£ per cent tn masters, officers, engineers and radio employees on interstate and overseas ships, and 10, per cent to all other ratings. An increase of 5 per cent, is granted to employee* in inter-State > vessel*.
