CHANCES OF PENZANCE
GOOD HACK PROSPECT SHAPED WELL AT ROTORUA IMPROVED FORM LIKELY Since she won in dashing style over six furlongs at the last November meeting here and returned double figures on the win machine the form of Penzance was most disappointing, but she indicated by her running in sprint company on the latter day of the recent Rotorua fixture that she is on the upgrade again. On Saturday at Arawa Park she was near the rear of the field until half-way down the running and the impressive manner in which she came through to challenge Trilliarch and eventually run him to a narrow margin suggested that she will soon be seen to better advantage. Penzance is to contest the Linley Hack (6 furlongs) at Te Rapa on Saturday and as she appears to be a fit mare at present, and has shown a partiality for this course before, she appeals as a good proposition for honours at the meeting.
