VESSEL STRIKES MINE
BLOWN TO PIECES (United Pres 3 Assn. —Elec. Tel. Copyright) FOOCHOW, Feb. 12 Seven Chinese survivors struggled into Foochow. They revealed that their 100-ton coaster struck a mine at the mouth of the Wyn river on January 26 and was blown to pieces. Three hundred people, including one hundred boys and girls from foreign mission schools, are believed to be dead.
