GAOL FOR MONTH
MINISTER AND LABOURER STREET MEETING SEQUEL WARNING BY MAGISTRATE (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Monday Ormond Edward Burton, Minister of Religion, and William Daniel O'Reilly, labourer, were charged in the Magistrate’s Court today with obstructing the police in the execution of their duty. Each was sentenced tr one month’s imprisonment with hard labour. The Magistrate, Mr J. L. Stout, said it was quite evident from what was happening in other centres that it similar street meetings were allowed to continue there would most likely be disorder and possibly bloodshed. £
