quoits tournament The triangular rope quoit tournament among the Hamilton, Kinkiriroa, and Frankton Junction Lodges of the Manchester Unity of Oddfellows, for teams of four women and feur men from each lodge, was concluded at the Hamilton lodge room on Thursday night. The Hamilton lodge members proved to be the skilful team, and thus become holders of the handsome challenge trophy presented by Mr J. W. Coe. of the Kirikiriroa Lodge, the trophy being a burnished brass 18-pound shell, suitably engraved. The scores were as follows:—Hamilton 110. 104. 109. total 323; Frankton 93, 118, 77, (288); Kirikiriroa 48, 72, 77 (197). The highest individual scorers for each lodge throughout the three series of games were:— Hamilton, Miss E. Best 42. Mr T. W. Thompson 72. Frankton Junction. Miss B. Chestnut 36. Mr W. Hebditch 45. Kirikiriroa, Miss O. Machen 29, Mt j A. Kenyon 35.
