WELLINGTON MAKES 220 LEAD ON FIRST INNINGS (By Telegraph.—Press Association) DUNEDIN, Saturday After only two overs had been bowled in the Plunket Shield cricket match between Otago and Wellington, which was resumed this morning at the Carisbrook ground, heavy rain driven by a cold north-west wind caused a brief adjournment. Wellington, who had 191 on for eight wickets when stumps were drawn yesterday, were all out for 220, made in 214 minutes, in reply to Otago’s 138. McLeod’s uncompleted 52 represented the best batting so far of the match.
