VICTIMS OF MINES BRITISH LOSSES (United Press Assn.—Elec Tel. Copyright) LONDON, Feb. 8 The British steamer Marydawn struck a mine and sank in the North Sea. All 29 of the crew were landed. One man was dead and one seriously injured. The Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Shipping, Sir Arthur Salter, said that up to the end of January, 431 merchant seamen had lost their lives and 235 had been injured through enemy action. The Irish Channel motor-vessel Munster, which sank after an explosion, was mined.
