Mrs A. Murray, Hamilton, has returned from a holiday at Tauranga. Miss I. Petersen, Hamilton, left today to spend a holiday in Wellington. Mrs Norman Dey and Miss Hessey Dev, Hamilton, are on holiday in Wellington. Mrs A. C. Burgess, Hamilton, returned today frpm a visit to Taumarunui. Mrs Neil Mac Diarmid, Manaia, Taranaki, is visiting her mother, Mrs jj. F. Strang, Hamilton. Miss Joyce Turner, Wanganui, will spend next week as the guest of Mrs Errol Baxter, Hamilton. Mrs H. P. Clark, Hamilton, leaves during the week-end for a holiday in Wellington. Miss Eileen Allison, Pio Pio, is visiting Hamilton as the guest of Mrs T. R. Mardell. Miss M. Hamilton, Te Aroha, is the guest of her aunt, Mrs A. T. James, Hamilton. • • Mrs H. J. Beeche, and Misses Clarice and Eva Beeche have returned to Hamilton from a tour to Wellington. Mrs P. Kelly, Hamilton, has returned from visiting the Exhibition in Wellington. • *■ • m Mrs R. Emett, New Plymouth, is visiting her daughter, Mrs J. W. Ebbett, Hamilton. Mrs H. P. Blundell, Christchurch, is visiting Hamilton as the guest of her mother, Mrs A. E. Manning. Miss Amy Railey, and Miss Pat Punch, Auckland, are visiting Hamilton for the week-end and are the guests of Mrs D. Boyt. Mrs L. C. Rathbone, Remuera, Auckland, has returned from a visit to her daughter-in-law, Mrs W. Rathbone, Waingaro. * V * * Miss Q. Barkley, Claudelands, and Mrs S. Bews, Otago, have returned to Hamilton from a short visit to Auckland. ► * * * * Miss Essie Burnett, who was formerly teaching Hamilton, and who has been for the past year on exchange to England has returned to the Dominion. She passed through Hamilton recently en route for Waitara, where she has taken up her duties as teacher.

Mrs Ray Mexted, Te Kawa, is holidaying in Auckland as the guest of Mrs K. Ashton, Blockhouse Bay. Mrs A. Baker, who has been visiting "Te Awamutu, has returned to Levin. Mrs G. B. Budden, Ngaroto, has been visiting Wellington for the Exhibition. Mrs Lyell Kay, Parawera, has left on a visit to New Plymouth, Hawera and Palmerston North. Mrs C. V. Sutton, Parawera, is a visitor to Wellington for the Exhibition. * • • • Mrs Hugh Houston, Parawera, is visiting the Centennial Exhibition and

is expected to return during the week-end. Mrs O. O’Brien and Mrs V. J. Pryor, of Punui Road, have returned from Wellington, where they attended the Eucharistic Congress. Mrs Oates and her daughter, Mrs M. Owens, who have been staying at Thornton’s Bay, Thames Coast, have returned home. PUKETAHA Mrs Woodruffe has left for her new home at Kaurihohere. Mrs Kaye, late of Waipu, North Auckland, has taken up her residence at the School House, Puketaha. Mrs Ernest Rickard has returned home after a camping tour of North Auckland and Waihi Beach. Mrs C. E. Thomas has returned from a trip to the Centennial Exhibition. MATANGI Mrs Chapman is spending a holiday in Whakatane. Mrs Wheatley has returned from Waihi Beach. Mrs W. Luxton is spending a fortnight’s holiday at Howick. Mrs Taplin and Miss Yvonne Taplin have returned after spending the holidays at Howick. Mrs Wilson Ford and Miss Ethel Fenwick, Timaru, are visiting Mrs J. Shaw, “Wartle.”
