BODY FOUND ON BEACH
(Special to Times) GREYMOUTH, Thursday The body of Miss Kathleen Murphy, of Westport, who had been missijig since November 27, was found today on the beach a mile north of Bruce Bay, South Westland. Miss Murphy was with Mr Christopher Pope, whose body was recovered early in December, and it was established that he had been drowned while attempting to cross the Karangarua River. It was presumed at the time that Miss Murphy had met a similar fate, but until today no trace had been found of her.
