CRICKET VACANCIES
CLAUDELANDS CLUB NEW OFFICERS ELECTED A special meeting of the Claudelands Cricket Club, to fill vacancies in the club caused by enlistments and transfers, was held last night, Mr C. G. Hunt presiding. The secretary, Mr H. K. Parkes, had enlisted and was in camp. Mr D. Edmonds, a member of the senior team, was also in camp, and Messrs M. Cooper and W. McKinnon had been transferred. Messrs J. Golby and W. Mackley were elected to fill vacancies on the management committee and Messrs W. A. Cassells and J. Lawson to fill vacancies on the selection committee. It was decided to make every effort to maintain both teams in the competitions for the remainder of the season. Teams for Saturday are as j follows: i Senior A.—T. Lyon. H. Lyon, D. I Hemi, T.
