BADMINTON TOURNEY
NEW ZEALAND TITLES (Special to Times) NEW PLYMOUTH, Tuesday Play in the major events of the New Zealand badminton tournament will begin at New Plymouth tomorrow night, when the opening round of matches in the national championships will be decided. Play in the B and C grade championships and in the handicap events began last night, and the tournament' will conclude on Saturday with the championship linais. Nearly all Hie outstanding badminton players of the Dominion have entered, including six of the eight members of the New Zealand team which has just returned from a tour of Australia. In the women's singles Miss M. Edmonston Hamilton . winner of the title in 19'36, is a competitor.
