HAMILTON EAST SCHOOL

ANNUAL FANCY DRESS BALL In spite of the inclement weather, the Hamilton East school children's annual fancy dress ball held in the Alexandra Hall on Thursday night was well attended, the function being most enjoyable. A varied and excellent programme was presented by the children, following which dancing was enjoyed by the adults. In the supper room charming decorations had been carried out in the school colours with the additions of bowls of spring flowers. During the evening the chairman of the School Committee, Mr H. M. Baker, thanked the parents and the staff for their assistance in connection with the ball. The headmaster, Mr W. A. Curteis, replied, and congratulated the children on their deportmenl.
