SUCCESSFUL YEAR REVIEWED CREDIT BALANCE OF £2933 After making full allowance for money spent on course improvements, depreciation and bad debts the annual report of the Te Aroha Jockey Club discloses a credit balance of £2933 3s 9d. The bank overdraft has been reduced from £3063 16s Id to £361 11s 2d. The president, Mr R. L. Somers, comments that (fee annual race meeting proved a record one in all respects. Stakes amounting to £6050 were paid out over the two days and totalisator returns ran into £104,933, compared with £93,720 the previous year. The actual profit on the meeting was £4630 16s lod. Murphy, have again been nominated, and, as no further nominations have been received, they will be declared elected at the furthcoming annual meeting.
