SCOUT ACTIVITY
TAUPIRI GROUP OFFICERS The annual meeting or the Taupiri Boy Scout group was held recently, when the •scoutmaster, Mr A. Button, reported that the interest in the movement in the district was very encouraging. The roll number stood tbc same as last year and tbe attendances at parades were ma ntained. Four applications to attend the jamboree had been sent in from the troop. The following officers were elected:— Chairman, Mr T. Reekie; secretary and treasurer, Mr M. Birkett; committee, Mr and Mrs It. Fransham, Mr and Mrs D. Chubb. Mr \\\ G. Wilson, .Mr W. B. Cuming and Mr J. Hat well.
