FOSTER v. CALTAUX HAMILTON ASSOCIATION’S BOUT HONOURS EQUALLY DIVIDED Arrangements have been completed by the Hamilton Boxing Association for the appearance in the l’rankton Town Hall oil Monday week of Johnny Foster (Canada) and Vic Caltaux (Auckland, in a deciding bout before Foster leaves on the return trip to Canada. The two men have already met four times and have divided the honours equally on points decisions. Every time they have come t‘gather they have produced some of the most thrilling boxing seen in the Dominion and their appearance in Hamilton will be welcomed by Waikato followers of the sport. When they met in Wanganui the bout was fierce and even from Hie opening holt and the contestants boxed so hard that at one stage they were both fiat on the mat at the same time. Foster, who lias an enviable record in boxing circles, is not satisfied with tlie equal division of the scores out of his four bouts with Caltaux and the bout in Hamilton is the result of a special request on his part. After boxing on the Monday he will leave for Canada the next night. Vic Caltaux. the rugged Aucklander, made a great impression when he met Don Johnson in the Frankton Town Hall last season and showed himself to be a fighter above the average. With the benefit of a good deal of experience since that appearance lie can be expected to give a good account of himself in Hamilton.
