NEGLIGENCE CHARGE SEQUEL TO FATALITY FAILURE TO STOP ALLEGED (Special to Times) AUCKLAND, Tuesday Charged with negligently driving a motor-car, thereby causing the death of Thomas Connolly, an accountant, Joseph Yarella, aged 38, appeared before Mr J. Morling, S.M., in the Police Court, yesterday. The case was a sequel to a fatality in Khyber Pass Road on the evening of April 29. Yarella was further charged that being the driver of a motor-car in Khyber Pass Road, where an accident arising directly or indirectly from the use of such vehicle occurred, he failed to stop. Accused entered 3 plea of not guilty and was committed to the Supreme Court for trial. Bail of £IOO was renewed.
