PLUNKET SOCIETY
FRANKTON JUNCTION The annual meeting of the Frankton branch of the Plunket Society was held in the Plunket rooms on July 4, when the president of the Hamilton branch. Mrs N. E. Blornfield, and Mrs C. 11. Holloway, vice-president, were present. The following officers were elected: President, Mrs Ewart Brown; vicepresidents. Mesdarnes F. \V. Platts and A. J. Hayward; lion, secretary, Mrs A. A. McLean; lion, treasurer. Mrs A. H. Norris; committee, Mesdarnes G. Bary. A. G. Sandfo-rd, J. D. Edgecu-mb*\ J Coulter, M. J. Clarke, \v. Beckett, D. Matins, F. Brewer and R. R. Hollinger A tribute was paid to the retiring president, iMrs Bary, for the work she had done during the past four years The motion of thanks was proposed by Mrs Platts and seconded by Mrs Blomfield The annual report was adopted and a vote of thanks was passed to the lion, auditor.
