However busy you are. make a point of devoting a little time regularly each week to general repairs. Wash and iron dainty collars and cuffs so that you have a supply of clean ones ready to put on. Press the clothes you have been wearing and replace missing buttons and fasteners, and do any other mending jobs that are necessary. There's a lot of truth in the old saying about a stitch in time!
