THE SEARCHING OF BRITONS BRITISH NOTE TO JAPAN (United Press Assn.—Elcc. Tel. Copyright) (Received June 16, 3.15 p.m.) ( TIENTSIN, June 15 The British Consul-General has sent the following note to the Japanese Consul-General:— "We most vigorously protest against the searching of British subjects and request its immediate cessation, also non-interfer-ence with British ships.”
