SHIPMENTS OF GOLD

Copyright; LONDON, April 20 The Cunard liner Antonia is cancelling her passenger trip to Montreal on May 5 and is going to New York on April 2G with a special cargo of about £2,000,000 worth of gold but no passengers. Gold shipments to the United States in recent weeks amount to over £IOO,000,000, some belonging to the Belgian and Swiss national reserves. Other gold shipments this week-end will be: The Champlian, £3,000,000; Manhattan, £7,000,000; and Aquitania, £4,000,000. The Ardania, Britannic and Ascania will also take shipments.
