CENTRAL WAIKATO FIXTURE LARGE ENTRIES AT CAiM BRIDGE (Special to Times) CAM BR3 DOE, Friday The Waikato Sheep Dog Trial Club’s sixth annual trials opened at “Dingley Dell,” Cambridge, yesterdav and are being continued to-day and tomorrow. Excellent entrids have been received from all parts or the North Inland. A start was made yesterday with the maiden event (short head drive through hurdles and hold at peg), and this event Is being continued to-day along with the short head drive and yard (open) event. Other events to be decided are, shedding, long head and huntaway. Rain fnterrered'v with the programme yesterday, but no one complained as J:ke everyone else the sheepmen welcomed it. The principal officials are: President Mr 11. P. Hewitt; ground marshal. Mr S. Brunskill; judge. Mr W. V. Mclntyre; secretary, Mr L. G. Broad.
