FERNERY AT EXHIBITION ft jf»y Telegraph—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Friday Because of the expense of erection rod operation the Wellington Beautifying Society has decided to refuse with regret an offer from the Centennial Exhibition Company to provide a fernery at the Exhibition. The president of the society said the fernery would cost £2ooo*. An admission change of 6d would be made to defray expenses and the City Council was willing to buy the fernery Afterwards for £SOO.
