THE CAMBRIDGE BRANCH SEVENTEENTH ANNUAL MEETING I (Special to Times.) A drive is to be made for new members, j The proposed visit of Australian Anzacs to New Zealand in 19 io was discussed, and it was agreed that every member be m- : viled to contribute 2s towards the enter - • tainment ol' the visitors. I It was decided to bold a ladies’ evenimg this winter. The annual re-union is ■ to be held on May 2 4 (Empire Day). Relief Association As a result of alterations in memtoer- ! ship the association has greater represen--1 tation on the Cambridge Ex-Servicemen’s i Relier Association. New members are the Mayor, Mr Edgar James, and the president, Mr R. Newcombe. 1 The meeting placed on record the good ! services of retiring members of the Relief Association, Messrs C. H. Priestley and T. F. Richards. Mr T. H. Newcombe was re-elected presi- ; dent unopposed. Similarly Mr J. Jeans I was elected vice-president. A ballot took place Tor twelve executive members, the elected being: Messrs <D. J. Lundon, D. W. ! Ariell, A. Cranston, W. A. Fisher, F. H. i Green, E. J. F. Kennedy, E. C. ostoorne, J. V. Richards, 11. <B. Rishworth, C. Rusl-o* A. J. sway tie and C. Watt. Anzac Day Arrangements ’ In addition to the dawn parade on Anzac Day, the usual service at 2 p.m. ; will be attended.
