VISIT TO ROTORUA HAMILTON WANDERERS’ GAME The Hamilton Wanderers' Association Football Club's senior team will have a work-out to-morrow when a I visit will be paid to Rotorua to play a non-c-ompetition game with Rotorua. | With the 1939 season scheduled to j open on May 6 the clubs in the South j Auckland area are turning their | thoughts to steady training and Wand- ; erers should benefit considerably as a result of to-morrow’s trip. Since last season the club has lost ! the services of a number of its seniors. : b*ut other players have been forthj coming to fill the vacancies. W. Clarkson has retired from the game, Jim Fisher has been transferred to | Te Kuiti, and others who will not be j available are John Fisher and Jack Elvey. Among the new players 1 to wear the club's senior colours this ( year will be A. Berry (who has had I English amateur experience), A. Wood I (a former Auckland Thistle represen- | tative) and Morris (formerly of Glen | Massey). The team to represent Wanderers ! to-morrow will be as follows: Web'ster; Morris, McLean; Wood, D. Crabb, ‘ McCall; Berry, C. Crabb, Robertson, i J. Stewart, Gurnell.
