FRANKTON YARDING Messrs G. W. Vercoe and Company, Ltd., report having held their weekly stock sale at Frankton on Tuesday, when an extra heavy yarding of fat sheep came forward. Competition throughout was steady and prices remained on a par with those of the previous week. Prime medium weight wethers sold from 21s to 22s 6d, prime light 19s to 20s 6d; light fat wethers up to 18s; prime Southdown wethers 18s to 19s, lighter weights to 17s 6d; prime maiden ewes, to 17s; heavy fat ewes up to 13s, lighter to 10s, killable 6s to 8s; heavy fat lambs 20s to 22s 6d, well- finished medium 18s to 19s 6d, others 16s to 17s 6d, light to 15s.
