KAIPAKI FUNCTION

DANCE AND CARD EVENING As a fitting conclusion to a successful sports day, the dance committee of the Kaipaki Amateur Sports Club, arranged a happy and enjoyable dance. Clarrv Cresswell’s orchestra was in attendance and the floor was in excellent condition for the large throng of dancers. A novelty waltz was won by Mr G. Knudsen and Miss J. Steenson. Mr A. C. McDonald acted as steward for the card tables, where a five hundred drive was in progress, the winners being Mr J. M. Boyd and Mrs E. Searle. A beautiful iced cake, made and donated by Mrs J. Graham, was won by Mrs A. Goodwin. Mr R. Boyd, president, took the opportunity of thanking all helpers for their willing co-operation in the function.
