JOLLY GIFT EVENING The Marlst Hall "'as the scene of a Jolly gift evening recently, when friends of Miss Sheila Devitt and Mr Jack Bowler, whose marriage will shortly take place, gathered to wish them a happy and successful future. Dancing was enjoyed, interspersed with much-appreciated items by Messrs Rika, Dixon. Devitt, Denny and Brian McKenzie, Extras were played by Mr Lineliam. Mr Tom Barnett, who capably carried out the duties of M.C., gave an exhibition of tap dancing. A novelty waltz was won by Miss Pat Crosby and Mr E. O’Mohoney. During the evening the guests-of-honour were called upon to open the many parcels. Mr Bowler suitably replied, the evening concluding with musical honours.
