FULL TRAINS
HEAVY EASTER TRAFFIC FRANKTON JUNCTION BUSY An indication of the very heavy traffic being handled at the Frankton Junction Railway Station over Easter is given by the fact that of the seven expresses passing through Frankton on their way south this evening, four are fully booked while the whole of the second class of a fifth express is booked out. The station staff was extremely busy to-day but the rush of passengers will increase this evening and reach a peak with the arrival of the limited and relief expresses. From early to-morrow morning the station will be invaded by large numbers of holidaymakers from the south, eight trains arriving from Wellington and one from New Plymouth within a few hours. The majority of these expresses will leave with a fairly large complement of passengers, which is expected to be considerably increased before Frankton is reached.
