DINNER PARTY

MISS JOAN CLEPHANE’S BIRTHDAY To celebrate the coming-of-age of her daughter, Joan, Mrs McL. T. Clephane was hostess recently at a dinner party at the Hamilton Hotel. Following dinner the guests were entertained at the cinema, after which they were invited to supper at Mrs Ciephane’s residence, Somerset Street, where a jolly time was spent, the customary speeches heing made and the traditional key presented to the guest-ol-honour. Mrs Clephane was wearing a navy blue frock and coatee of sequins, and Miss Joan Clephane's dress was of white patterned lime green organdi over which she wore a little bolero.
