PRISON SENTENCE
CONVERSION OF CAR naval desertion charge (Special to Times) TE KUITI, Friday A sentence of three months' imprisonment was imposed on Carl Albert Tenant when he pleaded guilty to a charge of unlawful conversion of a motor-car in the Te Kuiti Police Court to-day. On charges of intoxication in charge of a car and of driving a motorcar without a license, Temm was convicted and discharged. On a further ciiarge of desertion from the Royal Navy, the accused was remanded to Auckland to appear before the naval authorities.
