Copyright; (Received Dec. 30, 11 a.m.) BERLIN, Dec. 29 Dr. Conti, chief of the municipal hospitals, reveals that he is considering the transfer of about 800 Jewish inmates of insane institutions to Jew-ish-owned houses, under the care of Jewish doctors, thus shifting' their upkeep to the Jewish community. It is estimated that at present they are costing the city over 2,000,000* marks annually. REQUEST BY UNITED STATES EXEMPTION FROM RESTRICTION POSITION OF AMERICAN JEWS (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Dec. 30, 1 p.m.) BERLIN, Dec. 29 The United States has sent a Note to the Foreign Office requesting an assurance that American citizens will be exempt from the law prohibiting Jews from managing businesses.
