BIG REVENUE DEFICIENCY DUE TO DEFENCE OUTLAY (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) LONDON, Dec. 28 The Exchequer returns up to December 2 4 show a revenue deficiency of £242.300.000, which is £75,000,000 greater than in 1937, largely due to the increase in defence expenditure.
