Marsh, of Hamilton, has left for New Plymouth, where she is spending the vacation. • • e • Mrs K. G. Paterson and family, of Hamilton, are holidaying at Mercury Bay. • • • • Miss Ena Clough, of Wellington, who has been spending the vacation with her mother, Mrs W. Clough, of Somerset Street, Hamilton, has returned home. • • • • Mrs D. Robertson, of Hamilton, will spend her holidays on a motor tour. Miss E. Eggleston, of Hamilton, will leave this week for Palmerston North, where she is spending the holidays.

Mrs J. Oliphant, of Te Awamutu, is spending the holidays at the Thames Coast.

Mrs Couston, wife of Dr. Couston, of the medical staff of Tokanui Hospital, plans to leave early in the coming month with her sister, Mrs Johnson, for Shanghai, China, and will be away from New Zealand for about four months. Mrs Johnson, with her little daughter, came to visit her sister at Tokanui last October, and reports from China are sufficiently reassuring to warrant her returning to her home now.

Miss Enid Churrh. of Hamilton, is the guest of her aunt. Mrs F. G. Franklin, Sumner, Christchurch. Mrs W. E. Evans and Miss L. Evans, of Hamilton, are spending a holiday in Auckland. MATANGI Mrs J.
