SOCIAL AFTERNOON
AT WHATAWHATA A very enjoyable social afternoon was held in the Whatawhata Hall recently when members of the Whatawhata Women’s Institute entertained their friends. A pleasant programme was presented, those taking part being Mesdames F. Barnett, recitations and pianoforte solos; L. Wilcock, competition; A. Sxvanney, vocal solo; A. Rowe, vocal solo; S. Russell, competition; Miss J. Rowe, pianoforte solo and vocal solos. Afternoon tea was served by the members. Among those present were:—Mesdames J. Ward Chapman Hamilton), A. Rowe, S. Russell, A.
