PLANNED BY HERR HITLER GRAND DUKE AS TSAR DISPUTE WITH POLAND (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) LONDON, Dec. 27 The Paris newspaper L’Oeuvre says Herr Hitler is planning a Ukrainian kingdom with the Grand Duke Vladimir, pretender lo the Russian Throne, as Tsar. The Grand Duke visited Germany at Christmas with the White Russian generals. The Manchester Guardian says Herr Hitler lias donated Jut),ooo marks to Rulhcnian Ukrainians. The Papal Nuncio at Warsaw, adds the Guardian, is attempting to prevent a conflict between Poland and the Ukraine because it is feared that i.iie ultimate German domination of the Polish Ukraine would limit the freedom of Catholics. Germany is building roads from Czechoslovakia to Rulhenia and an oii pipe line to (Rumania. A Breslau newspaper publishes an article which Forecasts the creation of a Ukrainian State of 45,000,000 people from the Polish and Russian Ukraines and Ruthenia. The paper adds: “Europe should watch the Carpathians if it wishes not to be surprised in the next few months.”
