VISAS TO FISHERMEN REMOVAL OK A THREAT United Tress Assn.—Elr-r. Tel. Copyright. TOKIO. June 11 The Soviet Consul refused visas to 600 Japanese desirous of Ashing in 13 trawlers off Kamchatka. This was regarded as retaliation for the Japanese seizure of a Russian steamer stormbound in Japanese waters. subsequently, however, the visas were granted and the threat to Japan's vital fish supplies were removed.
