TWO DROWNINGS

FATE OF YOUNG MEN (Special to Times ) AUCKLAND, Monday Mr Geo. Worboys (27), single, farm labourer, of Silverdale, was drowned at the Cove. Tauhinui Park, Greenhithe, shortly after 4.30 p.m. on Saturday. Mr Worboys went for a swim with Mr A. Marshall and his son Angus (14). He got into difficulties and disappeared, and attempts at locating the body were fruitless. BOAT OVERTURNS PARAPARAUMU TRAGEDY (By Telegraph.—press Association) WELLINGTON, Sunday The youngest of a party of four men on a fishing expedition at Raumati Beach, near Paraparaumu, Alexander Rust Bain (20), son of Mr and Mrs A. Bain, of Paraparaumu, was drowned when their boat was swamped about 200 yards from shore. At "the Inquest a verdict of accidental drowning was returned.
