April 1 A message from Warm Springs says President Roosevelt has surprisingly published a letter in reply to an unnamed critic of the Government Reorganisation Bill. The President unequivocally announces his opposition to an American dictatorship. The letter states: ** I have no in- - to l»e a dictator. I have none of the qualifications to make me a successful dictator, as I have too much historical background and too much knowledge of existing dictatorships to make me desire any form of dictatorship in a democracy like the United States of America.’’
