PUKEMIRO NEWS
{CATHOLIC CHURCH FUNDS BENEFIT An enjoyable evening was held at Mr and Mrs J. Dunn's home recently in aid of the Pukemiro Catholic Church. The evening passed merrily with games, the winners at the card tables being Mrs Hillier and Mr P. Casey, and Miss Y. Dunn and Mr 5. Chappell (consolation). WHIST DRIVE * A whist drive held in the Miners* Hall, in aid of the Pukemiro School funds, was won by Mrs J. Dunn and Mr W. Cole.
