SOCIAL AT RAGLAN
BRIDE-TO-BE HONOURED A complimentary social was tendered recently to Miss Audrey Eng and Mr Brian Banks, on the occasion of their approaching marriage. The evening took the form of a dance in the Town Hall, a large number of guests attending. On arrival at the hall Miss Eng and Mr Banks were met by Mr and Mrs F. Hardey and Mr and Mrs W. Bates, Miss Eng being presented with, a bouquet. Messrs Hardey and Bates paid tributes to the guests-of-honour, wishing them happiness. Mr Banks, who opened the large number of gift parcels, suitably responded. Supper was served in the artistically decorated supper room, after which dancing was continued. Music was supplied by the friends of Miss Eng ,and Mr Banks.
