REDUCTION OF 15,360
UNEMPLOYMENT RETURN COMPARISON WITH LAST YEAR (Special to Times.) WELLINGTON, Thursday The latest unemployment return, for the period ended January 15, 1938, was released to-day by the Minister of Employment, the Hon. H. T. Armstrong. The return, which includes those on the register who are for health or other reasons unfit for employment, discloses a reduction of 15.360 as against the corresponding figure for January, 1937. The reduction compared with the figures for December last is 311.
