THE TYROL

ANTI-ITALIAN FEELING MANIFEST IN MUNICH ADMINISTRATION ATTACKED United Press Assn.—ElSc. Tel. Copyright LONDON, Feb. 10 The Munich correspondent of the Dally Tellegraph says there Is considerable excitement in Munich, owing to the appearance in the streets of huge posters attacking the Italian administration in South Tyrol, which is described ag a thoroughly German country. “The South Tyrolese is German; he belongs to the German people like you and I. Do not let yourselves be blinded of these fundamental facts by Italian whitewash.” The posters were apparently issued by the Association of German Minorities Abroad, a former Nationalist organisation now merged with the Nazi Party. This is the first time for many years that the question of South Tyrol has been raised by Germany, and the first public criticism of the Italian regime since the establishment of the RoineBerlin axis.
